Finance Associate Tunisia

We are looking for a Finance Associate for a position located in Tunis and report to the Finance Manager Tunisia & Algeria

 

The ideal candidate will assist the market in the execution and control of financial activities within JTI Tunisia with the objective to ensure conformity with Legal, Tax and Corporate requirements as well as to provide reliable and consistent follow up and reporting. The incumbent will ensure execution of identified projects and day-to-day operations in an effective and efficient manner

 

What you will be doing:

As a Finance Associate Tunisia, your key responsibilities will include:

 

JT International Tunisia

Handle accounting transactions of JTI Tunisia in accordance with IAS/IFRS & local requirements to ensure full compliance with local and JTI policies. Review postings made for JTI Tunisia by Global Business Service CenterPerform financial processes related to the daily running of the office to ensure close compliance with local regulations & JTI policiesHandle local bank relationships in coordination with NA controller and JTI Treasury Finance Manager Handle local tax queries, submission, etc. in coordination with NA controller Finance Manager & NWA Tax Manager"                                                                                                                      

                                                                                                                          

Tunisia business:

Follow up on the collection status, prepare reporting, liase with JTI SA Credit teamEnsure effective invoice processing and follow up processAssist the market in projects

 

Planning & reporting

Assist the market in the preparation of the financial planning exercises, including sales figures, pricing, expenses up till P&L, balance sheet in order to facilitate business decision making and risk management.Work closely with NA FP&A team to ensure timely submissions.Ensure effective performance reporting for the market in close cooperation with NA FP&A team                            

 

Controls

Ensure Tunisia  market operations are run in line with JTI policies and operating guidelines, as well as local regulation. Ensure timely training, reminders, compliance checks as necessary in close cooperation with NA controller. Maintain a good relationship with local partners (bank, tax office, statutory auditors, key vendors) to support business continuity                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

Requirements:

 

French & English required, Arabic is a plus. Computer fluency in MS applications and Accounting Software (SAP is a plus)University degree in Finance3 years plus in multinational environment.
