The IT company Andersen invites an Oracle Finance Engineer in Abu Dhabi to join its team for working with a company from UAE.

The customer is a government entity that manages public affairs and oversees various corporate and philanthropic projects. The company is embarking on a transformative digital journey to enhance its operational efficiency and customer experiences.

The project focuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, and optimize administrative processes.

We are open to candidates with strong technical expertise in Oracle EBS R12.2.9, particularly those with deep knowledge of finance modules and enterprise accounting processes.

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and supporting technical solutions and customizations for Oracle EBS Finance modules. Collaborating with functional consultants to analyze business needs and provide robust technical solutions. Developing and maintaining reports, forms, interfaces, conversions, and workflows (RICEW components). Ensuring compliance with coding standards, documentation practices, and change management procedures. Performing impact analysis and supporting patching, upgrades, and enhancements within the R12.2.9 framework. Troubleshooting and resolving issues in financial transactions, period closing, reconciliation, and reporting. Optimizing performance of custom and standard EBS functionalities. Managing technical components of implementations, enhancements, and system integrations. Supporting testing (unit, system, and UAT) and deployment of new functionality. Contributing to system documentation and training materials for end-users and support teams.

Requirements

Experience as a Oracle FinanceEngineer for 5+ years. In-depth technical expertise in Oracle EBS R12.2.9 Finance modules, including: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, Subledger Accounting (SLA). Strong development experience using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, BI Publisher (XML Publisher), and Oracle Workflow Proficiency in Oracle Application Object Library (AOL) components, Flexfields, Concurrent Programs, and Value Sets.Hands-on experience with OA Framework (OAF) customizations and personalization Deep understanding of EBS architecture, dual file system, and ADOP (Online Patching) in R12.2.9 Experience in data migration, interfaces, and integrations using APIs and interface tables Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting for job automation and deployment Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
