The IT company Andersen invites an Oracle Procurement Engineer in Abu Dhabi to join its team for working with a company from UAE.

The customer is a government entity that manages public affairs and oversees various corporate and philanthropic projects. The company is embarking on a transformative digital journey to enhance its operational efficiency and customer experiences.

The project focuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, and optimize administrative processes.

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and maintaining customizations, interfaces, and reports related to Oracle Procurement modules. Collaborating with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions. Developing and maintaining RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) to support procurement operations. Troubleshooting and resolving issues in procurement flows, patching, and performance. Ensuring compatibility with Oracle’s R12.2.9 patching and upgrade practices. Supporting the technical implementation of new procurement features and enhancements. Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, deployment scripts, and unit test results. Participating in code reviews, quality assurance, and technical knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

Experience as an Oracle Procurement Engineer for 5+ years. Deep expertise in Oracle EBS R12.2.9 procurement modules: Purchasing (PO), iProcurement, Sourcing, iSupplier, Inventory (INV). Strong development experience in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, BI Publisher (XML Publisher), and Oracle Workflow. Skills in OAF (Oracle Application Framework) customizations and personalization. Familiarity with AOL (Application Object Library) components, concurrent programs, value sets, and flexfields. Solid understanding of ADOP (Online Patching) and EBS dual file system architecture. Experience with Oracle APIs, interface tables, and data conversions. Competency in Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation and deployment support. In-depth understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes and controls. Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
