Summary

The IT company Andersen invites a QA Engineer to work on a large-scale project for one of our Canadian partners.

The customer is a luxury travel technology and procurement company with industry-leading booking platforms that enhance the efficiency of travel professionals and maximize their revenue opportunities. The company handles over $1 billion in transactions annually and has a team of 2,200+ travel experts.

The project is an actual web platform (travel services industry) for clients in the North American market.

The position requires 13:00 - 22:00 CET working schedule.

Responsibilities

Designing, executing, and maintaining manual test cases for RESTful APIs. Using Postman to validate endpoints, parameters, and responses. Writing and running SQL queries to verify data integrity and backend operations. Collaborating with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and ensure testability. Logging, tracking, and managing defects using tools like JIRA. Contributing to functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing. Participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Requirements

Experience as a QA Engineer for 2+ years with a focus on API testing. Hands-on experience using Postman for testing REST APIs. Ability to write and understand SQL queries for data validation. Familiarity with SDLC and agile methodologies. Good understanding of HTTP, status codes, JSON formats. Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
