Your business unit:

Deloitte Forensic Services helps clients to identify fraud, bribery, corruption and losses, including asset misappropriation, employee fraud, compliance breaches or unethical conduct, and to manage the consequences of actions undertaken by dishonest employees through the development of efficient internal controls aimed at preventing and mitigating these risks.
Our professionals also help clients to design efficient ethics and compliance programs and be in line with global best practices. We advise our clients in litigation/disputes with their commercial partners to enable them to resolve disputes as effectively as possible, supported by reliable and independent expert evidence.

The role will involve:

The role is a remarkable opportunity to enhance and develop your professional skills. You will take part in fraud investigations that range from employee misconduct and asset misappropriation to large-scale multi-jurisdictional fraud, bribery and corruption and help clients to identify risks and prevent issues from occurring.

Planning, leading and delivering projects and ensuring that client expectations are met or exceeded;Working on proactive and reactive compliance-related projects: helping clients to identify and prevent fraud, bribery and corruption;Reviewing and analyzing financial and other documents to identify potentially suspicious transactions;Reviewing and drafting company policy and procedures to reduce/mitigate fraud, bribery and corruption;Designing ideas and plans for clients to improve their compliance culture and procedures;Conducting interviews – to gather information on processes, with potential witnesses to issues and potential suspects;Leading and motivating large teams on simultaneous engagements;Building a personal network of contacts within the firm and with clients to support further business development;Performing internal risk procedures;Aiding the continuous development of junior staff;Preparing draft reports in Russian and English.

Requirements:

Higher education;5+ years of relevant industry experience in investigative and other forensic work or audit experience in Big Four companies or leading consulting firms;An attention to detail and an inquisitive mind;Strong analytical skills and innovative problem solving ability;An ability to interact with a wide variety of clients using your excellent communication skills;Flexibility and a commitment to seeing a task through to completion;A willingness to travel;Fluent English and Russian (Kazakh is also preferable but not essential);The right to live and work in Kazakhstan;An accounting / relevant qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CFE) would be helpful but not essential.
