Summary

Andersen seeks a System Analyst for a major banking project with a UAE financial institution.

The customer is a UAE-based public financial institution headquartered in Abu Dhabi. Regulated by the Securities and Commodities Authority, it offers a comprehensive range of financial services, including brokerage, asset management, corporate finance advisory, and market making. Through strategic partnerships in the GCC region and a focus on digital innovation – such as a proprietary trading app and expanded access to global markets – the customer continues to strengthen its market position and deliver value-driven, sustainable financial solutions.

The project aims to fully replace the existing back-office operations system that supports key service lines, including Retail Brokerage, Institutional Brokerage, and Market Making & Liquidity Providing.

Responsibilities

Assisting Architects and Business Analysts in creating project deliverables. Creating various system diagrams, including context diagrams, component diagrams, class diagrams, state machine diagrams, data flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams. Collecting and documenting system requirements. Analyzing and structuring technical and business information. Supporting the design of system architecture and data models Ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine requirements. Maintaining documentation for system specifications and design artifacts

Requirements

Commercial experience as a System Analyst for 4+ years. Strong experience in the fintech domain. Strong experience in Discovery Phase. Experience with Web Services. Experience in documenting requirements in the User Story format. Experience in designing and developing software documentation. Experience with Postman/Swagger/SoapUI. Experience in designing REST and SOAP APIs. Experience in modeling business processes (UML, ERD, BPMN). Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Knowledge of requirements management tools (at least Jira and Confluence). Level of English – Upper-Intermediate or above.
