Major/Essential Functions

Ensure complete and accurate registration, including patient demographics and current insurance information.Ensure complete and accurate registration, including patient demographics and current insurance information.Provide courteous, professional communication with patients, providers, insurers, and community partners to support a seamless referral experience.Ensure all referral processes follow organizational policies, insurance requirements, and quality standards, maintaining accurate and complete documentation.Identify process gaps, troubleshoot referral barriers, and support improvements that enhance referral efficiency.Performs related duties, projects, and tasks as necessary to support the team.

Required Qualifications

Associate degree and One (1) year of experience directly related to the processing of patient referrals;ORHigh school diploma or GED and three (3) years of experience working as a Certified Medical Assistant;ORHigh school diploma or GED plus five (5) years of experience directly related to patient registration, patient scheduling, patient billing/collections, the processing of prior authorizations, and/or the processing of patient referrals.
