Summary

The IT company Andersen invites a Data Architect to join its team for working with a company from Oman.

The customer is a pioneering financial institution in the Sultanate of Oman. It aims to support the housing and construction sectors, contributing to the country's economic development. The bank focuses on achieving shareholder objectives and developing human capital through efficient banking operations and a motivating work environment. It actively supports Omani citizens by offering subsidized financing and reducing waiting list delays.

The project is to support the governance, strategic planning, and operational alignment of the Super App and broader housing ecosystem.

The project assumes a Sunday through Thursday work schedule.

Responsibilities

Preparing and implementing robust Data Governance and Data Management frameworks for enterprise and banking environments. Designing and maintaining scalable Data Warehouse and Lakehouse architectures. Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to enable real-time analytics and support data monetization models. Managing and optimizing enterprise data platforms including Snowflake and BigQuery. Ensuring compliance with regulatory, security, and performance standards relevant to the banking industry.

Requirements

Experience as a Data Architect for 5+ years. Experience specifically as a Data Architect in the banking sector for 2+ years. Experience in analyzing existing ecosystems and planning modernization/creation of new solutions for banks. Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Management, and data quality principles. Hands-on experience with on-premises AI solutions (deployment, optimization, scaling). Ability to analyze existing IT landscapes and identify AI integration opportunities. Hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt, Talend, and Kafka. Solid knowledge of real-time data processing, analytics architectures, and data monetization strategies. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
