Summary

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Data Architect to join its team for working with a company from Germany.

The customer is a global leader in the design, engineering, and delivery of high-tech facilities. It specializes in controlled and regulated environments, providing solutions for the semiconductor, life sciences, and chemical industries, as well as data centers. The company has significantly expanded its presence worldwide, especially in Europe and the USA, with strong growth in sales and order intake.

The project is the development from scratch a web-based application for manpower forecasting, project management, resource management, and budgeting, while also offering a wide range of reports to track resource utilization and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Analyzing requirements for data sizing, preparing a data growth plan. Refining the data migration plan for both OLTP and OLAP data stores according to new inputs. Planning the cutover process. Creating detailed diagrams for data flows, integrations, and system components within the approved solution. Defining technical specifications, standards, and development guidelines spanning the approved data landscape. Deep-diving into semantic data model, further mastering data extraction. Establishing and validating the strategy for reengineering of the existing data exchange mechanisms. Refining the Reengineering Phase "to-be" architecture based on new insights or changes. Representing conceptual and logical data models for the new OLTP data entities, data entities replacement schema. Defining data classification criteria (Public, Personal, Confidential). Documenting data handling procedures for each classification (in accordance with Data protection policies). Employing a comprehensive Data Governance Framework (activating and configuring Microsoft Purview). Documenting findings and considering implications for storage and caching strategies. Providing recommendations for data management based on change frequency. Defining data masking and anonymization techniques. Establishing the strategy for enrichment and management of the data quality metrics. Establishing log and audit collection and management strategy. Establishing disaster recovery and backup strategy with a detailed plan (based on the AVD). Representing conceptual and logical data models for the OLAP data entities. Architecting data flow for ETL/ELT processes focused on OLAP data. Describing mechanics of data retention and historization according to compliance policies.

Requirements

Experience as a Data Architect for 5+ years. Experience on the project from scratch. Skills in architecting data flows for ETL/ELT processes focused on OLAP data. Experience in developing and refining data migration plans for OLTP and OLAP data stores. Azure experience. Good communication and collaboration skills. Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
