Activation Services Lead Manager Global Travel Retail
You will be responsible for setting goals and directions for the Global Travel Retail Activations Services, ensuring the development of media plans, concepts, and initiatives that are in line with Brands and Markets' objectives & ambitions. The scope includes the supervision and support of the following areas:
Own Retail: GTR owns shops, in-store activation and media plans, 1-2-1, and operations1-2-1: Strategy, processes/guidelines, and programs definition, training development and delivery, program enhancement, and communicationSmoking lounges: opportunity identification, Equity building, contract negotiations, media planMerchandising: Strategy, processes/guidelines definition, merchandising solutions development & actionable toolkits
You also develop, implement, and monitor consistent media & assets strategies that will support GTR and brands' development across different markets, channels, and touchpoints, with the objective to engage with consumers, create impactful communication platforms for the brands, and build long-term equity.
The responsibilities include planning, monitoring, and ensuring accurate budget management related to the team's activities.
Position:
The Activation Services Lead Manager GTR will:
Media Management: Develop a GTR Strategic Media Plan, considering the variety of channels, markets, contents, and supports, ensuring consistency and compliance of messages and campaigns across the different channels. Proactively seek new opportunities and conduct negotiations with vendors and partners. Set KPIs, track, measure, and analyze performance and budget. Ensure a structured and accessible centralized storage and archiving system. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure full alignment.
Activation Services Management: Develop and implement the strategic direction for Global Activation Services across the 4 pillars (own retail, 1-2-1, other channels, and merchandising), aiming for long-term consumer-centric growth. Collaborate with key stakeholders (Sales, Combustibles, RRP, Finance, Legal, CA&C) to ensure alignment on processes, guidelines, and initiatives. Lead ASP discussions and create plans supporting Activation, Marketing, Sales, and GTR objectives.
People Management: Recruit, motivate, and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly to the incumbent, ensuring an effective task allocation, guaranteeing the continuity of business, and supervising the results achieved.
Budget Management: Manage the budget process related to the team's activities to ensure a timely, accurate, consistent, and integrated planning process and exercises. Manage plan requirements in alignment with global strategies, including detailed financial planning of initiatives. Deliver a clear and consistent plan during the Annual Planning process and provide updates as required.
Requirements:
University degree or equivalent (required)Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing; FMCG experience is a plusMedia Management experienceInternational experience (desirable)Cross-cultural and cross-functional experienceFluent in English; additional languages are a plusSkills: Media Management, Project Management, Planning and Organizing, People Management, Customer Service, Consumer & Activation Marketing KnowledgeStrong proficiency in MS Office and SAP
