Big Data & Analytics Center of Excellence is the data consulting and data engineering branch at SoftServe. Starting as a small team back in 2013, it has grown into a community of hundreds of Data Engineers and Architects who design and deliver end-to-end Data & Analytics solutions — from strategy and technical design to proof of concept and large-scale implementation. We work with clients across Healthcare, Finance, Manufacturing, Retail, and Energy industries.

IF YOU ARE

An experienced Big Data Architect with hands-on expertise in building large-scale data platforms, migrations, and decision-support systemsSkilled in designing and implementing modern data architectures (DWH, lakehouses, streaming, real-time, event-driven processing)Strongly experienced with Azure data ecosystem, including services such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Cosmos, Azure SQL, Databricks, and Azure Stream AnalyticsConfident in SQL and Python (PySpark) for designing and optimizing data solutionsExperienced in translating business requirements into scalable architecture and implementation roadmapsComfortable acting as a customer-facing consultant, presenting architecture decisions and leading technical discussionsProven in leading and mentoring data engineering teams, providing technical direction and ensuring best practicesKnowledgeable in data governance, security, and data management frameworks across modern data platformsExperienced in streaming and real-time processing (, Kafka, Event Hub, Spark Structured Streaming)Strong in SDLC and software engineering best practices (CI/CD, version control, testing) applied to data platformsProficient in supporting pre-sales activities, including discovery, solution shaping, and high-level estimationsFluent in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills in a multicultural environment

Design and deliver end-to-end data architectures on Azure for enterprise-scale data platformsTranslate business needs into scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutionsLead architecture design and decision-making, defining standards, patterns, and best practicesCollaborate with stakeholders to drive requirements gathering, data modeling, and solution designSupport and guide engineering teams in implementing data pipelines and platform componentsContribute to pre-sales activities, including workshops, solution envisioning, and proposal creationBuild and evolve data platforms, including ingestion, transformation, storage, and serving layersEnsure data governance, quality, and security standards across the platformParticipate in the full project lifecycle, from PoC through MVP to full-scale implementationExplore new technologies, build prototypes, and contribute to the Big Data community
