We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Business Analyst/Scrum Master to join our dynamic and innovative team. In this hybrid role, you will not only act as a bridge between our business stakeholders and our technical team but also ensure our Agile practices are implemented effectively and ensure smooth collaboration between business, design, and development teams. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business needs into clear requirements, preparing the product backlog for development, and ensuring smooth collaboration between business stakeholders, designers, and engineering teams. You will play a key role in validating designs, coordinating UAT and release readiness, and supporting teams throughout the development cycle.

This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of user experience and digital products, and proven experience in Agile environments.

You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering a world-class mobile experience for one of Southeast Asia’s largest resorts and entertainment companies, with a focus on serving its most valued Guests. The mobile app is a business-critical, rapidly evolving product that demands high standards of quality and scalability. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to solve real business challenges and directly influence how end-users engage with the company’s services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer System Analysis, Information Technology, Statistics or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an Agile environment
• Proven experience with mobile, web, or other front-end digital products; strong UX/UI understanding
• Familiarity with mobile app analytics platforms and performance metrics
• Proficient in using product development and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, CMS or similar platforms to support end-to-end product lifecycle activities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions
• In-depth understanding of digital business processes, systems, and technologies
• Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements, writing user stories and acceptance criteria using industry-standard methodologies and tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
• Experience in resolving blockers, and supporting incident triage
• Experience of running Scrum activities and ceremonies to guide the team in implementing Scrum effectively and ensure adherence to its processes
• Upper-Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency
• Working hours: Early start (around 07:00–07:30 EET) with a flexible afternoon schedule.

Nice to have skills

• Understanding of release processes in mobile development environments
• Familiarity with Log analysis tools (Sentry/Firebase/console logs) and basic JSON/XML literacy

Responsibilities:

Requirements & Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and user flows
• Maintain comprehensive and current documentation (Confluence, Miro)
• Decompose features, define scenarios, and clarify business logic to support development readiness

Backlog & Sprint Management

• Prepare and groom the product backlog, ensuring accurate prioritization and scope clarity
• Facilitate refinement sessions and support sprint planning activities
• Monitor progress throughout the sprint and assist in removing blockers

UX/UI & Localization Support

• Validate and review UX/UI designs for accuracy, logic, and usability before stakeholder presentation
• Manage localization processes, ensuring translations and language updates are consistent and complete

UAT & Release Coordination

• Prepare and execute UAT processes and support business stakeholders during testing
• Verify content, configurations, and translations prior to demos and releases
• Coordinate with Product Owner and architect to forecast release timelines and ensure release readiness

Cross-Team Collaboration & Communication

• Maintain close communication with Product Owner, Scrum Master, and multiple development teams
• Participate in cross-team syncs to identify dependencies and escalate blockers
• Prepare reports, presentations, and conduct demo sessions for stakeholders

Incident & Post-Release Support

• Act as the first point of contact during production incidents
• Collect context, triage issues, coordinate resolution, and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Validate post-release functionality and document improvement opportunities
