Position Description

In the Department of Family & Community Medicine at the Permian Basin, our aim is to develop people through positive relationships to change our world by transforming healthcare and changing communities.

Major/Essential Functions

Provide patient care by performing such medical examinations as are necessary and appropriate for all patients;Maintain appropriate records, reports, claims and correspondence necessary in connection with all professional services performed by the physician;Precept family medicine residents and medical students, providing bedside training; and,Provide mentorship, training and resources to students and residents to be successful in their future careers, placing a strong focus on education and evidence-based practices.

Pay Statement

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website at .

Required Qualifications

MD/DO/MBBS Degree;Completion of a Family Medicine Residency; and,Completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3.
