Major/Essential Functions

Patient Observation: Monitor patients for changes in health, behavior, or condition, reporting relevant information to the supervising nurse. Patient Environment: Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, make beds, and ensure the overall safety of the patient's living space. Communication & Support: Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and their families and act as a liaison between the patient and the care team. Documentation: Accurately document care activities, observations, and patient responses in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Vital Signs: Accurately take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report any changes or abnormalities to the nursing staff.
