We’re looking for an experienced Business English Teacher to join Vocabulaba, our online Business English project by Laba Group. Launched in 2023, Vocabulaba helps professionals develop their English skills in real business contexts, covering topics from finance and marketing to project management and HR. In this role, you’ll teach engaging courses, create materials, run speaking clubs, and support students in their learning journey.

Requirements

What will be on your task list:

Teaching:

• Deliver group lessons in General, Business, and Specialized English courses using both pre-prepared and self-developed materials.
• Host engaging Speaking Clubs for students across various courses.
• Review students’ homework and provide constructive feedback.
• Conduct introductory calls with new students to ensure smooth onboarding.
  

Content Development:

• Create comprehensive learning materials for courses, including lesson presentations, vocabulary lists, lesson plans, and homework assignments.
• Develop additional educational resources for project needs, such as email campaigns or collaborations with partners.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to enhance teaching materials, improve instructional approaches, and support marketing initiatives for the project.
  

Skills & Qualities we’re looking for:

• A BA or MA in English (Philology, Pedagogy, Linguistics) — your solid foundation matters!
• 2+ years of experience teaching English to adults in group settings
• Experience teaching Business English and making it relevant and practical
• Knowledge of different teaching and learning methods — you know how to make lessons stick
• Patience and resilience — because every student learns differently
• Ability to create unique learning programs from scratch that really engage learners
• Lessons that are fun, interactive, and leave students excited to come back
• Excellent communication skills, openness to new challenges, honesty, loyalty, and genuine passion for teaching
