Our customer is Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the biggest brewery company in the world. We own over 630 beer brands (including Budweiser, Stella Artois, Hoegaarden, Beck’s, Leffe, Chernigivske) in 150 countries and are considered to cover 28% of the global beer market worldwide. European HQ is in Leuven, Belgium.
Europe Solutions operates in a dynamic, growth-focused structure, driving digital transformation through scalable, cloud-based platforms. The team collaborates closely with global stakeholders to align on standards and best practices. In this fast-paced environment, the Senior Solutions Architect plays a key role in cross-functional initiatives and enterprise-wide adoption of data and analytics solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
6+ years of experience in platform architecture, data engineering, or ML infrastructure in enterprise environmentsExpertise in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based data solutions using Azure (Databricks, Synapse), with working knowledge of AWS and GCPStrong background in building data pipelines, ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data frameworksHands-on experience in platform performance tuning, monitoring, and cost optimization at scaleExperience leading cross-functional engineering teams, mentoring talent, and fostering a high-performance team cultureProficient in applying DevOps and Agile methodologies across the development lifecycleAbility to translate business needs into robust technical solutions while aligning with global standardsStrategic thinker with a hands-on mindset, able to solve complex problems and drive innovationExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working across technical and non-technical teams
RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and maintain the architecture of the Europe Data & ML Platform in alignment with global standardsLocalize and integrate global platform components to meet regional needs and regulatory standardsLead the CUP (Core Unified Platform) engineering team and drive technical strategy across initiativesEnsure platform scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness through modern cloud technologiesGovern architectural standards, ensuring consistent design and implementation across data & ML solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support data, analytics, and AI use cases end-to-endPromote DevOps practices to improve automation, deployment, and operational efficiencyServe as the go-to technical expert for platform design decisions and innovationMonitor performance metrics and continuously improve platform operations and delivery
