We are hiring a senior performance marketing leader to build and own our Client Performance & Success function for high-risk advertising verticals, including Crypto, iGaming, Nutra, and related markets.
Role Summary
This role is accountable for client performance, retention, and revenue growth across complex, high-risk advertising verticals. You will act as the primary strategic advisor to advertisers operating under platform restrictions, compliance constraints, and frequent policy changes.
You will work directly with company owners, C-Level executives, and senior advertisers to design and execute scalable, paid media strategies, ensuring profitable growth while navigating platform risk, account stability, and infrastructure constraints.
In parallel, define how Client Success operates internally and build a world-class customer support team.
This is a true ownership and leadership role, not a support or servicing function. Success is measured by performance, client longevity, and sustainable revenue expansion in challenging advertising environments.
Key Responsibilities
Client Performance & High-Risk Strategy
-Own end-to-end paid media performance for clients operating in high-risk verticals (Crypto, iGaming, Nutra, Forex, etc.).
-Act as the senior strategic lead on media buying, scaling strategy, testing velocity, and risk management.
-Advise clients on performance strategies that ensure maximum ROI.
-Translate complex performance and risk signals into clear, commercially viable scaling plans.
-Lead coaching sessions, performance reviews, recovery plans, and scale roadmaps with clients.
Client Retention & Revenue Growth
--Own client retention, satisfaction, and lifetime value in high-churn, high-pressure environments.
-Identify expansion opportunities through regular client monitoring and check-ins.
-Manage underperformance decisively, with clear turnaround or exit strategies where required.
-Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team.
-Be the decision maker to provide win-win solutions for the client and company.
-Be fully accountable for MRR targets and KPIs.
Client Success Function Ownership
-Design and implement the Client Success operating model.
-Define SLAs, escalation frameworks, performance reporting standards, and risk communication protocols.
-Build scalable onboarding and lifecycle playbooks tailored to restricted verticals.
-Partner with Sales & Marketing, Technology, Finance, and Leadership to ensure execution alignment.
Leadership & Team Development
Build and lead the customer operations team, i.e. customer success and support.
Set clear accountability for performance, client outcomes, and risk management.
Develop internal expertise, playbooks, and training around high-risk vertical execution.
Key Outputs & Success Metrics
Client performance against agreed KPIs (ROAS, CPA, LTV, revenue growth).
Client retention and longevity in high-risk environments.
Net revenue expansion across existing clients.
Platform stability and reduced account disruption.
Scalable, documented Client Success and risk management processes.
Required Experience & Profile
-5+ years of experience in paid media/performance marketing, with direct exposure to high-risk or restricted verticals.
-Proven track record of scaling advertising accounts with platform and compliance constraints.
-Deep understanding of ad platform policies, account structures, funnels, cloaking alternatives, and risk mitigation (where legally compliant).
-Strong commercial and strategic mindset; comfortable advising senior stakeholders in volatile environments.
-Experience in ad tech, performance networks, agencies, or infrastructure providers serving restricted industries.
-Prior leadership experience building or managing Client Success, Performance Strategy, or Customer Support teams.
