Hundreds of data engineers and architects nowadays build data & analytics end-to-end solutions from strategy through technical design and proof of concepts to full-scale implementation. We have customers in the healthcare, finance, manufacturing, retail, and energy domains.

We are launching a new direction within our Big Data & Analytics practice – Data Governance. Together, we will help our clients implement and operationalize modern Data Governance frameworks.

IF YOU ARE

Experienced in data governance, data management, or analytics, with 5+ years in roles connecting business and technical data practicesSkilled in working with Data Catalogs (MS Purview or GCP DataPlex, or DataHub, or Collibra) and maintaining data lineage and business glossariesProficient in writing SQL queriesFamiliar with data quality tools such as Great Expectations, dbt tests, Soda, or Collibra DQAble to define, document, and evolve data management and stewardship processes across the data lifecycleComfortable working in cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS) and collaborating with distributed teamsA strong communicator with a Data Product management mindsetConfident in maintaining daily communication with English-speaking software engineers on the client sideKnowledgeable about data privacy, security, and compliance best practices, including frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 8000 (as a huge advantage)Familiar with DAMA-DMBOK or other data management frameworks (as a big plus)Experienced with Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or ETL tools like Airflow, Spark, Beam, or dbt (desirable)

Help clients implement and operationalize modern Data Governance frameworks across cloud and hybrid ecosystemsEnsure high-quality, well-documented, and compliant data at every stage of its lifecycleCollaborate with Data Owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to define and maintain stewardship practicesCurate and manage data catalogs, lineage, classifications, and glossaries to improve data discoverability and trustMonitor and enforce compliance with internal data policies and external regulationsDefine and evolve data quality processes and metrics, managing issues and coordinating remediationImplement access management and sensitive data classification controlsBe part of a multidisciplinary team that bridges business and technology to build governance foundations for data-driven organizationsWork with leading data governance and quality tools to deliver measurable value and compliance for global clientsContinue growing your expertise through real-world projects, certifications, and SoftServe’s development programs
