We are seeking a highly experienced Lead/Principal Engineer to join our client’s engineering team and help build the core of their backend, admin portal, integrations engine, and multi-tenant infrastructure.

Client – is a company that develops a next-generation cybersecurity platform that combines AI-powered threat detection, secure communications, mobile defense, and cloud security. You’ll be building the core infrastructure of a multi-tenant SaaS system — including the admin portal, integrations engine, secure APIs, and real-time log forwarding — helping enterprise clients manage and protect their cloud environments with confidence and compliance.

Experience / Skills required:

10+ years of software development experience with a strong background in building large-scale enterprise systems Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript Extensive hands-on experience with API architecture, design, and development at scale Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures (experience with Azure is a plus) Solid experience with relational and non-relational databases: PostgreSQL and MongoDB (AWS DocumentDB) Strong background in enterprise integrations (e.g., SIEM, XDR, Active Directory, or similar systems). Strong understanding of network systems Exposure to Big Data platforms or strong conceptual knowledge of large-scale data pipelines Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work on complex distributed systems Upper-Intermediate English and higher

Nice to have:

Experience with React/Next.js./Rust/Python Familiarity with Azure Experience or strong understanding of cybersecurity practices, ideally from projects in security-sensitive or compliance-heavy domains Advanced Big Data expertise

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for enterprise-grade SaaS solutions Lead architecture decisions for secure, scalable, and high-performance applications Build and scale complex APIs for multi-tenant environments Work with Big Data pipelines and integrate threat detection and response engines Ensure system security, reliability, and performance across cloud and on-prem infrastructures Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mobile developers, QA, and R&D leadership Contribute to the development of admin portals, integrations engine, and secure communication modules Mentor and support other engineers, promoting engineering excellence and best practices
