Controlling Associate
Please note that this is a temporary contract
Position: This role supports accounting and reporting for Adriatica entities, including PR creation, GL postings (local and IFRS), month-end close, and Fixed Asset maintenance. It also covers T&E administration, and coordination with GBS and Corporate Accounting.
Responsibilities:
Daily purchase requisitions creation, ensuring proper material group assignment (considering VAT, PIT, WHT and GL account prospective).Management of payroll files and clearing and booking OPEX /Leasing booking for the Bosnian representative office.Participation in monthly closing for IFRS and Local Reporting: Preparation and submission of GL templates to the global processing center.Controlling Fixed Asset and Inventory modules in SAP: process retirements/sales, monthly revaluations, and depreciation postings; coordinate finance lease entries.Preparation of quarterly STAT FCF reports and support inventory/asset counts.Oversight of AP/AR processing by GBS; reconcile intercompany receivables, liabilities, and expenses.Monitor employee T&E, ensuring tax compliance (PIT/WHT) and coordinating with external agencies.Manual submission of RLP invoices and support of year-end IFRS/statutory reporting, including statistical reports.Communication with auditors and tax authorities: provide documentation, explain SAP transactions, and deliver reports.Support FP&A, GSC, and Leaf Finance with reports, variance analysis, and closing.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in economics or finance, economics, or a related field.3 years of accounting experience.Good command of English, especially accounting terminology.Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP/ERP is a plus.Familiarity with statutory and IFRS principles, and local tax regulations. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure; flexible, detail-oriented, and a team player.
