Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Program Manager to lead and oversee complex programs from initiation through successful delivery. The Program Manager will be responsible for defining program scope, managing resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring that program objectives align with strategic business goals. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to drive cross-functional teams and stakeholders towards common goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Strategy: Define, plan, and execute programs aligned with organizational strategy and objectives. Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management. Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Establish program governance, including clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes. Stakeholder Management & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related communications to stakeholders, including executive leadership, clients, and team members. Proactively identify and manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment and buy-in throughout the program lifecycle. Prepare and deliver regular program status reports, presentations, and dashboards to various audiences. Facilitate effective meetings and workshops to drive decisions and resolve issues. Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and monitor program risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Proactively address potential roadblocks and facilitate their resolution to keep the program on track. Implement change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new solutions. Budget & Resource Management: Manage program budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring financial targets are met. Allocate and optimize resources effectively across program workstreams. Forecast resource needs and work with functional managers to secure necessary personnel. Quality & Performance: Ensure program deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder requirements. Implement and oversee quality assurance processes throughout the program. Monitor program performance against key metrics and KPIs, making adjustments as needed. Conduct post-program reviews and lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement. Mentorship & Development: Mentor and guide project managers and team members within the program structure. Contribute to the development of program management best practices and methodologies within the organization.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a Program Manager role, overseeing multiple complex projects or large-scale programs. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex programs on time, within budget, and to scope. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, SAFe). PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is highly desirable. Exceptional leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in project management software (., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet).Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 24,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 84,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
