Software Development Engineer in Test

We are a development company currently working on a major international real estate product in US used by millions of people. We are looking for an active and experienced SDET who will help us maintain and set new standards for a high code quality bar for backend services.
If you have excellent analytical thinking skills that would allow to independently come up with a wide range of test case scenarios ranging from simple data boundary validation to complex setup variations, then this is the role for you!
You will get the opportunity to take an active part in the development of global product in US (Millions unique users per month), go on business trips, work with product management and engineering team.

What you’ll help us to do:

● REST API automation
● work with databases
● monolith and microservices testing
● effectively cooperate with the team and the client.

Here’s the experience that will help you to do the job:

● 3+ years of experience in Automation testing (Java);
● strong programming knowledge
● experience in backend testing (REST API, Postman, SQL databases)
● experience with Git and CI tools
● strong knowledge of Test automation patterns
● strong understanding of client-server architecture, testing approaches
● problem-solving skills
● intermediate English or higher

These skills will also come in handy:

● experience with Docker, AWS
● experience with BDD frameworks (ex. Cucumber)
● familiarity with curl, swagger is a plus
● experience using Atlassian products for Test Case and Defect Management
