Boeing Ukraine is currently seeking a Mechanical & Structural Engineering Manager to join our Engineering Team in Kyiv.

Responsibilities:

Active communication with Customer on forecast and scope of upcoming work, required resources and possible risks. Interact with Customer for confirmation and approval of project and processes requirements, including quality, budget and terms. If necessary, clarification of technical requirements.

Participation in long-term and short-term planning activities. Define and track project goals.

Define resources required for project execution. Support hiring of engineering team.

Project execution: monitors progress of work and its accordance to requirements, systematic analysis of work results, reports to leadership about work progress and results.

Manage and control project budget. Plan, confirm, organize and supervise project overtime works.

Summarize results of project execution together with technical leads, discipline leaders and Customer.

Provide systematic receiving of the information about Customer’s satisfaction, analyze this information and if necessary develop corrective actions. Reports to leadership about results of analysis of Customer’s satisfaction.

A positive & proactive leadership mindset which motivates team members and maintains a healthy work atmosphere.

Searching for opportunities to further development of projects, builds long-term relationship with Customer.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Upper Intermediate English is a must.

Existing rights to work in Ukraine.

3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications:

General knowledge of airplane - airframe structure, airplane/passenger systems and interiors.

Experience in project management.

Work experience as part of international team.

Leadership skills. Ability to coordinate and manage short term and long term projects.

Risk analysis and risk management skills. Ability to make decisions in uncertain environment and take risks.

Ability to build positive relationship with customer.

Strong communication and presentation skills, teamwork, initiative, integrity and attention to details.
