Ciklum is looking for a Lead Manual QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Lead Manual QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for one of our clients. We’re building a cutting-edge, cross-platform mobile application designed to provide users with a seamless and intuitive digital experience. We are focused on building a robust and highly performant solution that will empower users with convenient access to essential services and information directly from their mobile devices.

Responsibilities

Takes ownership of all quality aspects of the project, encompassing both Manual and Automation Testing perspectives Establishes process of Requirements Analysis and Requirements Traceability Matrix creation Responsible for determining the test approach/strategy and testing scope along with creation, support and implementation of test plans on different project stages Establishes, contributes and improves the process of all the needed QA documentation creation (such as Checklists, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, e2e flows, Testing Diagrams, Bug Reports, Test Summary Reports, Testing Risks Log, Case Studies, Demonstrates in-depth proficiency in functional and non-functional testing  Participates, can drive and improve any activity according to selected methodology (such as daily meetings, planning, estimation, retrospective
Administrates Test Management and Bug Tracking tools Responsible for the professional growth of more junior team members on the project and unit demand Line manager responsibilities

Proven background in designing and developing test strategies using best practices and patterns Mandatory Financial industry experience, banking preferred Experience with setting up test plan for small, big, multi-stream commercial projects High proficiency in testing documentation creation and any testing type execution Experience in most of the testing standard tools for testing (API, Proxy, Mobile, Automation, Bug Tracking, Test Management, Queues, and database administration (SQL, NoSQL) Master proficiency in Agile Methodologies, able to drive and improve any activity according to selected methodology (such as daily meetings, planning, estimation, retrospective, Experience in any Agile artifact implementation (. SCRUM board, Burndown Chart, In-depth proficiency in the estimation of activities related to testing

Software Testing:

Experience in using CI/CD tools (Git commands) and debugging proxy tools (Fiddler, CharlesProxy, etc) Mobile projects: Master proficiency in Mobile Testing best practices, Mobile Testing Types, Mobile App Distribution Tools, and Mobile Test Strategy development Automation projects: Master proficiency in Introduction of Automation test approach, Test cases for Automation creation, Automation Test Reports analysis, Automation metrics gathering Cloud projects: Master proficiency in test data migration and Queues testing process establishment
