Responsibilities
The purpose of the role is to secure long-term sales relationships with Vestas's customers, as well as to identify and pursue supply sales opportunities, from initial screening and quotation to negotiating and signing contracts and thereby securing business in the Ukrainian market. Reporting to the head of Sales, the Sales Manager will be responsible for:
Provide a day-to-day interaction between Vestas and targeted the customers, as well as understand the customer business case in order to ensure optimal and mutually beneficial value propositions Screen and evaluate sales opportunities To prioritize projects and customers towards best resources use optimization Manage the entire sales cycle: from identifying potential customers, quoting and optimizing deals to negotiating and concluding contracts for the delivery of wind energy projects Ensure effective interdisciplinary collaboration in a matrix organization, as well as to coordinate and specify technical, financial, pricing, legal, construction and service solutions for the customers, in close corporation with other Vestas departments Establish, develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders (existing and potential customers, authorities, utilities) Monitor market development and trends Input to the development of Vestas' regional commercial strategyQualifications
BS/MS degree in engineering, business administration, finance or a related field At least 7 years of similar experience in the energy industry, machinery, construction or related environment, large infrastructure projects or large manufactured products Extensive experience in Sales, Commercial Sales, or Business Development, and legal experience within the renewable energy sector or other project-based industries Skilled in negotiating complex technical contracts with a thorough understanding of contract terms and conditions Skilled in identifying and engaging relevant business stakeholders to promote collaboration and positive outcomesCompetencies
Effective motivation and business acumen High level of customer focus Proficient in negotiation skills and possess the ability to create mutually beneficial solutions Good technical understanding Collaboration and sharing of resources to the benefit of the entity.
