The Technical Communication Office (TCO) at SoftServe is an in-house center of excellence dedicated to enhancing user interactions with technology through expert user assistance, technical documentation, educational content, and localized strategies. TCO drives quality and innovation in technical communication, supporting people, projects, and client success, with a specialized COE team focused on delivering both short-term and long-term value across the TechComm expertise.

IF YOU ARE

Experienced with at least 6 months of commercial experience as a technical writerSkilled in communicating effectively with system-oriented developers and business-oriented stakeholders, organizing complex information into clear, self-contained piecesProficient in working with requestors or other stakeholders to gather and understand their requirementsKnowledgeable of plain English guidelines and international writing standards from companies like Microsoft and AppleGood at adhering to established corporate standards, workflows, and procedures, with strong attention to detailKnowledgeable of common IT industry terminology, quickly grasping new domain-specific terms and conceptsExperienced with Microsoft Office applications (especially PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint)Detail-oriented, flexible, responsible, and a strong team player, with an eagerness to dive into technical specificsConfident communicating in English within a multicultural environment

Work with underdeveloped or poorly executed designs, enhancing their overall look and feelIdentify design flaws and transform them into polished, visually appealing, and functional outcomesEdit documents written in poor English, ensuring every change improves readability and has a clear purpose: project materials, pre-sales documents, internal policies, or educational contentAssist in designing knowledge bases with a focus on content structuring, applying design principles to make information easy to access and understandCommunicate with a wide range of stakeholders, participate in all project stages from pre-sale to closure, and ensure successful presentation of information based on business needs
