DescriptionThe main goal of this Role is to remove legacy code and align CI solutions between different generations of Infotainment products to simplify maintenance by reducing technical debt in CI pipelines.RequirementsWe are looking for Senior Build & CI Platform Developers to design, implement, and continuously improve large-scale build and CI platforms.The role focuses on Bazel adoption, build performance optimization, and CI enablement across complex software products, with full ownership of the build pipeline from source code to published artifacts.Key RequirementsStrong hands-on experience with BazelDeep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build systemsStrong Linux experience (Ubuntu)Python scripting for build automationExperience with Git and Gerrit-based workflowsExperience with Docker-based build environmentsNice to HaveExperience with Android build systemsExperience with remote or distributed build systems (RBE)Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform or similar)Job responsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain scalable build and CI platformsIntroduce and expand Bazel as the primary build system across productsOwn and optimize build pipelines end-to-end, from source code to publishable artifactsMaintain and optimize the build infrastructure and build execution environmentsDrive adoption and efficient use of Remote Build Execution (RBE)Prepare for and support the integration of Android Build File System (ABFS)Monitor build performance and identify bottlenecks and inefficienciesImprove build reliability, reproducibility, and failure diagnosticsCollaborate closely with development teams to onboard and support Bazel usageEducate developers on building best practices and performance optimizationContribute to documentation and knowledge sharingWhat we offerCulture of caring.
