Area Sales Manager, Other Focused Channels (Travel Retail)

JTI Korea is looking for an Area Sales Manager to lead sales, key accounts, and P&L for our Travel Retail business in Other Focused Channels like cruise ships, cargo, and downtown duty-free, making sure growth targets are delivered. You’ll also work closely with field teams in stores to guide execution of promotions and visibility, ensure compliance, gather market insights, and collaborate with functions like marketing and finance to deliver strong results. 

Key Responsibilities:

Drive sales and distribution strategies across Other Focused Channels, ensuring brand visibility and execution of promotional programs.

Manage key accounts by developing account plans, agreements, and compliance checks, while monitoring performance and ROI.

Lead sales forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management for the assigned territory.

Execute and evaluate trade and consumer programs to strengthen JTI’s positioning as a preferred supplier.

Gather and analyze field intelligence, reporting results on sales, pricing, and stock management.

Oversee outsourced personnel performance, ensuring alignment with company standards and KPIs.

What We’re Looking For:

University degree 

5–10 years’ hands-on experience in sales, distribution, channel management, or field trade marketing

Strong P&L management experience (must-have)

FMCG and Travel Retail experience is a strong advantage

Experience in consumer/trade promotions management is a plus

Fluent in English and Korean (required); additional languages are a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong financial, negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and account management skill
