Work type: Office/Remote Technical Level: Senior Job Category: Software Development Project: World leading digital health companyWe are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join an exciting new project focused on developing an external API for a leading digital product in the mental health sector. The platform is designed for the UK and US markets, and you will play a key role in shaping its data infrastructure, scalability, and overall performance.
What You’ll Do:
Design and implement a scalable data platform capable of processing and analyzing large volumes of data using Azure cloud services.
Enhance and support LLM-related Python services.
Collaborate with the DevOps team and contribute to infrastructure tasks when required.
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for both internal teams and external customers.
Ensure data quality, observability, and best practices are consistently applied.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory.
Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, or similar).
Solid understanding of Azure services, Kubernetes, and containerization.
Practical experience with Microsoft Power BI.
Knowledge of data quality and observability principles.
Strong ownership, adaptability, and problem-solving mindset.
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
