We’re seeking a client-facing Data Product Owner to lead the design, discovery, and delivery of data integration and management solutions. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with stakeholders across retail and consumer-facing industries to ensure that our data platform solutions are effectively scoped, aligned with business needs, and optimized for long-term value.

You will work with a highly composable SaaS data platform - leveraging existing capabilities, guiding configurations, and ensuring designs are both strategic and executable.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead business discovery workshops to elicit data-related needs, platform constraints, and strategic objectives Define scoping documents and high-level design for data products and flows Own the functional and technical design at a business-oriented level-without coding or deep architectural builds Guide clients in platform adoption, identifying gaps in configuration, and recommending the use of existing product features (not custom builds) Work closely with Chief Architect, Delivery, and Product teams to ensure alignment of platform capabilities and roadmap Identify if critical data product components are missing and escalate appropriately Collaborate with technical consultants to ensure delivery follows designed data flows and business logic Contribute to data modeling discussions and ensure consistency across integrations and platforms Act as the primary client-facing design lead, ensuring solutions reflect real business processes and constraints

Experience Required:

Knowledge of one or more complex domains including retail, CPG or finance Strong experience in retail, commerce, or consumer-oriented sectors Hands-on involvement in data-driven product design or data platform implementation Proven ability to translate business requirements into high-level solution design Experience with data flow diagrams, entity relationships, and data modeling Familiarity with data governance, integration patterns, and event-driven architecture Understanding of modern cloud-based data technologies (Azure, GCP, AWS – conceptual knowledge is sufficient) Experience working in client-facing consulting or delivery roles Ability to challenge requirements, avoid unnecessary customization, and guide toward scalable platform-based approaches
