What you can expect
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise DevOps practices and enterprise secrets platforms to join our infrastructure team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure across multiple environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance automation, improve observability, and ensure the high availability of mission-critical systems.
About the Team
With eight specialized departments, the engineering team functions as a highly collaborative, diverse power house. Each department mission is to deliver seamless and innovative communication solutions. These range from software development and machine learning to quality assurance teams that work to create and maintain Zoom's user-friendly interfaces and robust infrastructure. The team continues to push the boundaries of communication technology, bringing people together regardless of their physical distance.
Responsibilities
Designing, implement, and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt, ensuring scalability and reliability across cloud (AWS, OCI) and on-premises environments.Leading application deployment strategies using Helm and Argo CD, implementing GitOps principles and declarative deployment workflows.Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to enable fast, reliable, and secure software delivery.Driving secrets-management modernization initiatives, implementing enterprise solutions like HashiCorp Vault with dynamic secrets rotation and Kubernetes-native integrations.Architecting and deploy highly available infrastructure solutions with a focus on security,performance, and operational excellence.Establishing comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.Participating in incident response, on-call rotations, and post-incident reviews to continuously improve system resilience.Automating operational tasks and workflows using Python, Bash, Go, or similar scripting languages.What we’re looking for
