ROLE PURPOSE:
This position is a member of the Education team, responsible for working with the team to provide support for program implementation in field office, supporting the development and implementation of the education in emergencies program.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Program Implementation:
· Lead the implementation of the Safe Schools Common Approach in selected schools, including school selection, needs assessments, recruitment and line management of
facilitators, organization and delivery of trainings and structured sessions for children.
· Oversee procurement and distribution of necessary materials and equipment to ensure quality implementation of project activities.
· Conduct regular monitoring visits to schools and project locations, document findings, and ensure follow-up on agreed action points.
· Organize educational events, learning sessions, and exposure visits for children, teachers, and facilitators as required.
· Ensure effective operation of Teachers’ Digital Learning Centers, including supervision of the Centre Supervisor, organization of events, stakeholder engagement, promotion of activities, and facilitation of trainings.
· Implement structured methodologies such as HEART, Youth Resilience Program, Early Childhood Education approach, and other approved interventions in line with program
design.
· Identify the most vulnerable categories of children within targeted communities and coordinate provision of individual support, including documentation and reporting.
· Conduct regular work trips to vulnerable hromadas in Dnipropetrovska, Zaporizka, Kharkivska, Sumska and Poltavska oblasts to deliver project activities and ensure field-
level oversight.
· Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal teams to strengthen integrated support to children, parents, educators, and communities.
Monitoring, Learning and Documentation:
· Conduct biweekly coordination meetings with partners to review progress, challenges, and quality of implementation.
· Monitor partner-led activities through field visits and documentation review to ensure compliance with project standards.
· Contribute to preparation of periodic program reports, including data collection, analysis, and documentation of achievements.
· Document best practices, lessons learned, case studies, and success stories from project implementation.
· Maintain active coordination and informal learning exchange with other actors engaged in education programming.
General:
· Support translation and adaptation of materials and communication where required for program implementation.
· Attend trainings, workshops, and coordination meetings to strengthen professional competencies and contribute to knowledge sharing.
· Represent the organization in meetings with local stakeholders, education authorities, and coordination platforms as assigned.
· Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Education Coordinator in line with program needs

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in education, Psychology, Social Work, Pedagogy, International Development, or another relevant field. A master’s degree is considered an asset.
Qualifications
· Minimum years of experience working on education programmes in primary education, secondary and/or early child education.
· Experience working for an NGO in challenging contexts.
· Experience delivering teacher trainings.
· Fluency in spoken and written English and Ukrainian.
· The maturity and experience to effectively building relationships with key NGO and government partners.
· Experience to identify problems and develop appropriate solutions.
· Strong relationship building, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Experience (Required)

· Excellent communication skills – presentation, negotiation, analysis, reflection.
· Understanding of the complex issues that affect children’s access, participation, inclusion and retention in education in Ukraine.
· Good analytical (thinking) skills with ability to produce quality analytical reports, case studies.
· Ability to work under pressure.
