Position Overview: We are looking for a Grant Analyst to systematically monitor, analyze, and map grant and donor funding opportunities relevant to our clients and internal initiatives.This role is primarily research- and intelligence-driven. Approximately 60–70% of the role is focused on continuous scanning of the grant landscape, identifying new calls, understanding donor priorities, and translating complex funding information into clear, structured insights for consultants and clients.In addition, 30–40% of the role will involve Donor and Government Engagement activities, aimed at building institutional understanding of donor strategies, maintaining structured interactions with public institutions and donor organizations, and supporting EPSA’s long-term positioning within the Ukrainian and international funding ecosystem. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Grant Opportunities Analysis & Market Intelligence (approx. 60–70%)Continuously monitor international and national grant programs, including:EU funding (e.g. Horizon Europe, EIC, EU4Business, Ukraine Facility)International donors and IFIsFoundations and bilateral aid programsUkrainian national grantsIdentify new and upcoming grant calls, funding windows, and donor prioritiesAnalyze eligibility criteria, funding logic, budgets, timelines, and implementation requirementsStructure grant information into clear internal summaries, shortlists, and opportunity mapsMaintain and regularly update an internal grant opportunity databaseFlag high-potential opportunities for specific sectors, company profiles, or strategic directionsSupport grant managers and consultants with:pre-screening insightsdonor logic explanationscomparative analysis of similar funding instrumentsTrack trends in donor strategies, policy shifts, and funding prioritiesPrepare short analytical briefs on changes in the grant landscapeB.
