The Charity Foundation “NEW WAY” is a non-profit non-governmental organization working in the field of humanitarian aid, rehabilitation and development. Our main focus is the implementation of projects in the areas of WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene). For the financial support to implement the projects to provide assistance in the field of housing restoration, water supply, sanitation and hygiene, the organization is looking for a Finance Officer in Kyiv city.Responsibilities:Providing support to Finance&Administration Manager in conducting financial operations related to the project implementation in accordance with internal and donor guidelines as well as Ukrainian regulations;Processing all project-related financial documents, including payment requests, payment vouchers, etc.;Processing of project documentation (scanning, archiving, printing, filling) according to existing requirements;Keeping all payment vouchers according to the Financial Regulations of organization and donor guidelines;Ensuring all the financial transactions are entered into the organization's bookkeeping software as per the allocated budgetary codes;Providing support to Finance&Administration Manager in preparing financial reports, including external audits;Any other tasks connected with the project implementation, as per request. Required background and competencies:High degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting & Audit, or relevant professional experience;Good knowledge of Ukrainian Tax, Labor and Accounting legislation;Preferable previous humanitarian experience; Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel;Essential good command of Ukrainian, and good command of position context English, both written and spoken;Ability to work in a team;Ability to meet deadlines.The Charity Foundation “NEW WAY” has a zero-tolerance approach to sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA).
