The Accountant is responsible for daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and annually recurring accounting activities and assigned to one or multiple of Atlas Professionals entities.The Accountant ensures a timely, complete, and accurate input of accounting data, using the Atlas Professionals platforms and Excel.Organizational relationships:The Accountant reports to the Head of Accounting or directly to a delegated Finance Team Lead.As an Accountant you will join the Atlas Professionals Fin Hub - a team of dedicated accounting specialists. Getting their energy and motivation from accounting and finance activities. The team is supported by hybrid working. Atlas Professionals utilize the platform and systems Workday (ERP), Filelinx (OCR), and Microsoft Excel.Tasks and Responsibilities: Create of Supplier Invoices (OCR & Workday)Create Intercompany Customer Invoices (Workday)Bank Statement Reconciliation (Workday) - record Customer payments; create settlement runs (supplier payments), ad hoc bank transactions (manual journals) Create Excel conversions and upload (Payroll Journals)Any other required tasks not mentioned here aboveSupport and maintain a backup structure. Job Requirements: Education and Training                                                                                  - Accounting degree (preferably)                                                                                             A qualification in a relevant administrative subject or the ability to perform at this level by experience Knowledge and Experience                                                                                                Ability to understand system and underlaying processes                                                   Working knowledge of English language                                                                               Knowledge and understanding of International financial accounting (not a must)                            Able to read and understand documents and contracts related to the account department (not a must)   Behavior & CompetenciesResponsible, supportive and dedicated to the dutiesProcessor that gets the work donePositive attitude, enjoying the workday, getting energy from and driving accountingShould you be interested in the position of Accountant, please send your CV to Elena Kairets, Senior HR Specialist via email - [email protected]
