N-iX is looking for a Middle Strong/Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the BA team and developers to understand requirements and identify areas of testing. Participate in test plan creation, test case design, and continuous improvement of the automation testing process. Verify acceptance criteria and enrich them Execute testing to identify defects and ensure the functionality and performance of our software applications is working properly. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing. Perform test data preparation. Contribute to the enhancement of test automation frameworks and infrastructure. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges and bottlenecks. Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in quality assurance. Gather testing metrics

Qualifications and Skills:

4+ years of overall QA experience Need to have backend testing experience (API testing, hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL/Postgree etc.)) Experience with bug tracking (Jira) and test management tools - TestRail or similar) Extensive DB knowledge (JOINs, aggregate functions, types of relations) Experience with Kafka is strongly preferred Application log tracing and troubleshooting (Datadog, ELK or similar) Experience with Postman, Swagger (for API testing and documentation) Experience with Android SDK (mobile testing) Experience working with AWS will be a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in designing and executing manual test cases, test scenarios, and test plans. Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools. Analytical mindset and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and document defects accurately. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively in a team environment. At least an Intermediate strong level of English  Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
