Amentum is supporting the Department of Justice (DOJ) in providing specialized training, advisory and mentoring services to host nations under the Criminal Division’s International Criminal Investigative Training and Assistance Program (ICITAP).
ICITAP is a cornerstone of America’s global strategy for combating transnational crime, terrorism, countering trafficking in persons, establishing rule of law and enhancing human rights in developing countries. Amentum is the contract service provider to the DOJ ICITAP and Overseas Prosecutorial Development, Assistance and Training (OPDAT) programs.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Amentum is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Targeting Specialist in Ukraine. This position will be responsible for serving as a subject matter expert on border security strategies including researching potential high-risk counterterrorism and/or illicit threats entering the US.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work and engage with external partners on foreign assistance programs related to border security foreign assistance programs. Collect and examine quantitative and qualitative data related to border security and targeting programs. Advise on effective management and implementation of border security programs including streamlining processes and enhancing protocols. Draft reports on the results of engagements with foreign partners and conveying results of data collected. Conduct assessments on border security infrastructure and data collection/processing capabilities and provide written feedback reports to US partners.REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess a minimum of 10 years of US border security experience with an understanding of border security strategies Possess experience working in an information sharing fusion center environment addressing national security threats related to lawful cross border trade and/or threats in the passenger air environment domain. Must have experience processing data with US partners targeting and researching potential high-risk counterterrorism and/or illicit threats entering the US. Must be familiar with US targeting and analytical systems and tools, commonly used by US agencies (UPAX-Unified Passenger, ATS-P/L-Automated Targeting System (Passenger/Land), and TECS-Treasury Enforcement Communication System). Must have worked and engaged with external partners on foreign assistance programs related to border security foreign assistance programs. Must have worked with US DHS partners as well as external partners to coordinate examinations of high-risk threats and the sharing of information and/or intelligence through the referral systems. Clearable: Must be able to obtain and maintain a (Public Trust Waiver) US Government Clearance.
