About the Team

With eight specialized departments, each departments mission is to deliver a seamless and innovative communication solution. These range from software development and machine learning to quality assurance teams that work to create and maintain Zoom's user-friendly interfaces and robust infrastructure. The team continues to push the boundaries of communication technology, bringing people together regardless of their physical distance

As a VoIP DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for administering VoIP infrastructure, implementing CI/CD processes, and ensuring high availability of our communication systems. You'll work in a collaborative environment with diverse teams to maintain and optimize our VoIP services.

What we’re looking for

Administer and maintain VoIP tools and infrastructure

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for service deployment

Troubleshoot production issues, including performance and functionality concerns

Collaborate with vendors and engineering teams to ensure service availability and security

Participate in on-call rotation to provide system support

Monitor and optimize system performance using various DevOps tools.

​Required Qualifications

Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, and RTCP protocols

Proficiency in Linux systems and shell scripting

Experience with CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, and container technologies

Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)

Programming skills in Python, Go, or equivalent languages

Experience with Redis or MySQL databases

Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, ArgoCD)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Knowledge of network troubleshooting and diagnostics

Understanding of microservices architecture

Experience with automation and infrastructure as code
