One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Engineer in Test in Ukraine.

As a Senior Engineer in Test, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of applications and infrastructure. You’ll develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and contribute to defining effective test strategies. This role requires strong experience in Python and CI/CD tools, along with a deep understanding of various testing methodologies. Accountabilities:

·         Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Go, and JavaScript/TypeScript

·         Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to support seamless development and deployment

·         Define testing strategies and scope in collaboration with product and engineering teams

·         Develop scalable test automation systems for application and infrastructure testing

·         Identify edge cases, performance issues, and potential risks throughout the SDLC

·         Collaborate with teams to integrate testing into daily development workflows

·         Continuously improve test processes, frameworks, and automation tooling

Requirements

·         4+ years of experience in software engineering or test automation

·         Strong programming skills in Python (or similar languages)

·         Hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch

·         Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or CircleCI

·         In-depth knowledge of testing types: unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, etc.

·         Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments

·         Understanding of distributed systems and Kubernetes (CKAD certification is a plus)

·         Bonus: experience with PyTest, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, React testing, and Bash scripting
