D.TRADING is the international arm of DTEK, Ukraine’s largest independent energy producer and trader. D.Trading is a fast-growing international trading company operating at the intersection of renewable and conventional energy sources. We trade electricity, gas, gas condensate, and coal across Central and Southeastern Europe and aim to provide world-class trading solutions while also transforming the European energy trading landscape.
IFRS Manager
Responsibilities:
Working closely with accounting team to prepare Group’s annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS;Review of stand-alone financial statements of the Group’s;Management of external audit process of the Group;Liaise with other functions as necessary to finalise detailed tax notes and reporting to external stakeholders eg banks;Establish methodologies that the local accounting teams will apply;Provide support for questions regarding IFRS or accounting treatment of the Group’s business operations;Drive the preparation of annual ESG report of the Group (in accordance with CSRD/ESRS and IFRS S1/S2).
Requirements:
Accounting qualification (ACCA or DipIFR);Technical expert in IFRS;At least 3 years of experience in a senior technical accounting role with emphasis on IFRS;Strong systems both of accounting and reporting tools;Able to meet strict deadlines;Strong communicator in a fast paced and culturally diverse environment;Willingness to learn and teach;Accuracy and being detail-oriented;Fluent in English.
Would be an advantage:
“Big 4” experience or similar professional service experience;Experience with a commodity trading business;Previous experience of system implementations.
