Within Component 4, the Key Expert(s) will work closely with the component team, in line with EU and Expertise France procedures, ensuring quality, efficiency, accuracy, and confidentiality in all activities. The duties include:Assist Component Lead with the planning, organisation, co-ordination, implementation and monitoring of the Project activities in relation to EU-adhesion negotiations on Chapter 23 and Chapter 24, development and awareness raising of ADR/mediation and implementation and application of the Law on Administrative procedure by judicial corpus, providing expert support in legal education and Bar reforms in accordance with the Project Work Plan and other programming documents;Design and oversee the implementation of short-term and mid-term expert missions, ensure quality control of deliverables produced by the experts, guide the experts in public communication with respect to component activities (written articles, interviews, project events).Assist Component Lead with the reporting on the results achieved by the Component.Draft and edit reports, analytical notes, policy papers and other Project deliverables in English and Ukrainian;Steer and ensure timely organisation of Project events as well as their quality, provide input to the agenda development, participate at various Project activities and secure internal and external follow-up;Steer and ensure effective liaison with Project beneficiaries and coordination with other technical assistance projects in relation to EU-adhesion negotiations on Chapter 23 and Chapter 24, development and awareness raising of ADR/mediation and implementation and application of the Law on Administrative procedure by judicial corpus;Steer and ensure monitoring of Ukraine Facility in relation to justice sector and ensure regular reposting to EUDEL;Ensure coordination with other components while implementing Component 4 activities;Contribute to the communication and visibility of the Project, in coordination and cooperation with the Communications Officer;Support Project Officer in ensuring financial, logistical and administrative aspects of Project implementation;Perform other tasks at the request of the component or Project leadership.This is a permanent, full-time position based in Kyiv The EU Project Pravo-Justice, through Component 4, is committed to supporting key Ukrainian justice stakeholders—including the Ministry of Justice, the High Council of Justice, the High Qualification Commission of Judges, the State Judicial Administration, and the Office of the Prosecutor General—in their EU integration efforts, with a specific focus on Chapters 23 and 24 of the EU acquis. This support includes analysing Ukrainian legislation for alignment with the EU acquis, assisting the Ministry of Justice in the approximation process, and providing expertise throughout the negotiation process for the relevant chapters. Strong Management and Coordination – Demonstrates exceptional management and coordination skills within the team and in interactions with beneficiaries and partners; effectively aligns the efforts of all stakeholders to ensure cohesive and efficient Project implementation.       Concern for quality – meets commitments and observes deadlines, while ensuring quality, efficiency and thoroughness in work, demonstrates a meticulous approach with an eye for detail and precisionResult orientation – drives himself/herself and others to achieve a project-defied objectives, adapts and orients methods and procedures of Project work with the aim of getting the defined resultsLearning and development – recognises own strengths and weaknesses, accepts the feedback of the Project management and takes appropriate action, seeks out learning opportunities and incorporates them into actionAdaptability – works effectively in a constantly changing environment and within a variety of dynamic work situations, adjusts own work plans, activities or actions to meet prioritiesVision and strategic insight – shows the ability to develop a vision and translate it into concrete strategies and policies; takes time to think ahead and identify long-term trends and developments in current events; identifies clearly day-to-day and longer-term priorities of project implementation.Qualifications and ExperienceKey Expert(s) must meet the following qualifications: ●                 Law degree from accredited law school in Ukraine or abroad; advanced degree preferred.●               At least 5 years of experience in the relevant field, in the private or public sector.●               Demonstrated experience in project implementation, including experience in and / or knowledge of technical assistance projects funded by the European Union or other international donors.●       ●               A high degree of initiative and diplomacy and the ability to solve complex problems in coordination with a diverse range of stakeholders.●               Fluency in written and spoken English and Ukrainian.
